Cooking Caravan

The habits kids develop last a lifetime.

We normally think of this in negative ways. For example, if kids see an adult they respect smoke, chances are they will smoke. But learned habits are not only negative, this tendency can be used to build positive behaviors.

Equipped with a grant from Global Ministries, this year we are able to empower kids to make healthy meals through cooking demonstrations. Every two weeks, the organization Cooking Caravan engages kids with fun and educational recipes. Here is a montage from today’s class. Click on the image to watch the video.
